TechnoKids Releases a New Database Technology Project
June-09-08
Microsoft Access and database skills can be challenging to teach middle school students. The detailed lesson plans in TechnoMission make it easy to explain how to construct a database. The technology project includes a teacher guide, student workbook, and resource files.
The TechnoMission technology project, provides an overview of space exploration from the early beginnings of the space program in the 1960's to today. Students learn about the structure of a database by filtering records that contain information about astronauts and their missions. Extension activities encourage students to develop an appreciation for space exploration.
