In this activity, students learn how to make an interactive article with bookmarks and hyperlinks.

On the first page, students create a table of pictures of trends. As the viewer clicks on an image, they are linked to information about whether it is a popular or outdated fad. This text is located on the following page. Students also make links back to the picture page, so that viewers can have fun connecting back and forth.

Combining all of the newly learned skills, students design the magazine cover. It should attract attention, be persuasive, and encourage the viewer to read on. On the title page, students make hyperlinks to each article in the document.

Afterwards, students proofread for grammar and spelling and then preview the layout. When editing is complete, the ezine is shared with their peers.
