Fun Computer Lesson Plans

TechnoCelebrity Icon In this project, students play the role of tabloid reporters, writing about a celebrity makeover. Students create an interactive PowerPoint slide show that includes a morph video of the new look.

Part 1 Celebrity Sighting

The fun begins in TechnoCelebrity when students watch a sample celebrity makeover in Microsoft PowerPoint. The e-tabloid includes celebrity facts, a video of the celebrity morphing from their "before" picture into a new look, and a comment box for fans to write their opinions.

Students then select a celebrity. They learn how to use the Internet to research facts and locate pictures using the computer lesson plans.

While conducting the research, a planning sheet, provided with the TechnoCelebrity project, is used to record information about the famous person.

  • Plastic Surgeon: Transform the celebrity. Draw, paint, and airbrush over the celebrity picture in Microsoft Paint.
  • Body Clinic: Sculpt the celebrity a new body. Use Microsoft Paint to copy the celebrity head to a new body.
  • Hair Salon: Make over the celebrity. Visit a website to apply makeup, style hair, and add accessories.
Once the makeover is complete, students use the FREE software FaceMorpher Lite to morph the before picture into the new look.
